The FSC General Assembly will be held in the southern city of Seville, a centre of culture where participants will be able to enjoy many attractions, monuments and buildings which testify to its fascinating heritage. This is a perfect place to hold an international event like our FSC General Assembly.
Seville is the capital of the autonomous community of Andalusia and the province of the same name. The city has more than 700,000 inhabitants, nearly half the population of the whole province. It is located on the plain of the Guadalquivir river which crosses the city from north to south. The harbour, located about 80 kilometers (50 miles) from the Atlantic Ocean, is the only river port in Spain.
Choosing the province of Seville as the place for meetings and business incentives ensures a very different experience. As well as the quality of the services and infrastructure, there are leisure activities based on Spanish culture and its incomparable historical and artistic legacy. Museums and art centers, theme parks, cinemas, theatres and clubs are just a few of the leisure options that a great city like Seville holds.
In 1929, Seville hosted the Latin American Exhibition, which left important urban improvements in the city, and more recently Expo 92 reinforced the image of Seville as modern and dynamic.
