Side Meetings

A program of side meetings provides participants the opportunity to delve deeper into the issues addressed in formal sessions and highlight their diverse activities in promoting responsible stewardship of the world forests.

Side meetings take place outside of the formal sessions, and are aimed at sharing experiences and increasing opportunities for dialogue among delegates. At the FSC General Assembly 2011, about 20 diverse Side Meetings were held, in which participants were actively engaged in addressing the crucial links between the welfare of people and forests.
