Meet Tony – the FSC GA Youth Correspondent

zoomTony Mendonca (© FSC A.C.) © FSC A.C.Tony MendoncaMy name is Tony Mendonça. I am a Venezuelan Social Communications student at Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), in Caracas. During this week, I will be serving as the FSC Youth Correspondent. I saw the competition posted on Facebook, sent my resume, and some weeks later, I was being interviewed at four in the morning. Wining this international competition, which was held for communications students from all over the world, represents my first job related to my studies.

I love asking questions and discovering new things. I always felt attracted to languages, and I believe that has helped me to speak three: Spanish, Portuguese and English. Since I was little, I always wanted to work in an international company that gets me traveling around the world to inform people what is happening. I think that life is about dreaming, trying and then getting to the place you once dreamed of.

I am here to be the voice of the youth at the FSC GA 2014, and if you see me around the conference please say hi and tell me what FSC means to you – you will always find me with a smile on my face and a willingness to listen and learn.
